Youth is an attitude not an age. Youth is daring, rebellious and carefree. D-mop launched their Fall Winter 2019 Lookbook “Cult of Youth” and it shows the youth culture and attitude.
Titled “Cult of Youth”, the latest lookbook brings the scenes to a dilapidated building in a modern city. The lookbook narrates stories of a group of young people and expresses underground culture and alternative lifestyles in a modern city.
Shot in an old building/factory building in the city, the photoshoot showcases an experimental mix of photographic styles between the 90s Grunge and futuristic aesthetic, which responds to the youth subculture themes, eliminates generation boundaries and expresses the diversities and possibilities in youth cultures.
This latest lookbook highlights brands with very different styles, like Faith Connexion, Y/Project, Natasha Zinko, Angel Chen, Liam Hodges, Feng Chen Wang, Self Made, MM6 by Maison Martin Margiela, Rhude… etc. The experimental styling enhances the daring youth culture theme. In addition, we can also find androgynous looks in the lookbook which expresses the spirit of modern gender mobility in the generation.
