How to Measure
Use a fabric measuring tape to take your body measurements.
This is a general body measurement illustration. For this tops and jackets guide, refer to Chest, Waist and Hip in the image. Inseam and Height are not used in the tables above. Barbour's Arm Length method is explained below.
- Chest
- Measure around the fullest part of your chest, directly under your arms.
- Waist
- Measure around the narrowest part of your waist.
- Hip
- Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
- Arm Length
- Measure from your collarbone, over the shoulder point, to your wrist bone.

- Slim Fit
- Close to the body for a sleek, contemporary look.
- Regular Fit
- A balanced fit with room for layering.
- Relaxed Fit
- A looser, more generous fit for comfort.
- Classic Fit
- A roomy, boxy fit used on selected iconic styles.
- Oversized Fit
- Intentionally cut larger for an oversized look.
Fit varies by style. Refer to the product description for the specific fit of your chosen garment.
